Year-End Category Trends of 2015
2015 sees 80’s making a comeback on the straight side and Uniforms marching in on gay.
At AEBN, we’re in a unique position to collect and report sales-based statistics on adult entertainment trends in Gay and Straight. Here is our year-end data for 2015.
STRAIGHT
Teen, Anal, and Taboo were the top three on the Straight Theater in 2015. The biggest upward trend was ‘80s, which climbed +31 points. Swinger swung up by +22 points, while Instructional moved up +21. The most notable downward moves were Smothering (-33), Foot (-20), and Muscles (-20).
GAY
Anal, Bareback, and Safe Sex were in the top three of the Gay chart for 2015. Uniform climbed +14 points, the biggest gain on the chart. Cops, Foot, and Pigs each moved up +9. Gloryholes (-14 points), Russian (-12), and Chubs (-9) were the most significant downward trends.
